Good News for Gambling Historians

It looks like the venerable Binion’s Horshoe Casino in Las Vegas is going to be purchased and reopened in time for the 2004 World Series of Poker. Great news for poker players and anyone interested in a taste of what “old” Las Vegas was like.

Minor Milestone

This spot marks 100 entries to this site since it moved to its current location. What that really tells me is I need to post more often. I’ve got really, really good intentions about that. We all know what good intentions are good for though.

Great Paper, Perfect Paper, Pittsburgh Paper!

My former hometown, Pittsburgh, has a newspaper that gets it. The Pittsburgh Tribune Review now offers RSS feeds. Way to go, Trib! I don’t know when they started, but I just noticed the white lettering on the orange button yesterday.
